Although these reactions are widely studied, seldom research focused solvent effect. To fill this gap, effect three different reaction mixtures with an excess butyl levulinate (BL), butanol was studied kinetics BL over Ru/C. PC-SAFT (Perturbed-Chain Statistical Associating Fluid Theory) shows that solubility hydrogen not constant during progress, it taken into account. allow a fair comparison, kinetic models were developed using Bayesian statistics for each mixture. best performances obtained when mixture has GVL.
